Uber to lease building in Wixom, MI from Dembs Development.

This 23,000 SF facility is located in our Beck North Corporate Park and will be a self-driving research center for Uber. Interior renovations are due to be completed by mid-March, 2017. The decision to open the facility in Wixom, shows how the Motor City is seeing success in navigating its way from its traditional auto making industry to the new, high-tech future.

“Let’s face it, 25 years ago Wixom was Ford — nothing wrong with that, but that’s not where we’re going to be 25 years from now,” said Wixom Mayor Kevin W. Hinkley.
